I've fallen behind on this blog. And it makes me sad. Sometimes life is just so overwhelmingly busy, that the blog is the last thing on my mind.
I've been having a lot of fun lately. I went to the coast with a good friend of mine. And that's what matters.
I'm doing this blog so that others can enjoy my everyday celebrations, but I'm mostly doing this blog for me. So that I can prove to myself that I really can celebrate something everyday. That I can find a reason to find joy Every. Single. Day.
Because one day, I'm going to look back at the blog, and I'm going to smile remembering how difficult Kahlua Bon Bons are or be amazed that I actually made baked Alaska (and that it is not actually a type of fish, as I once thought.) Because this blog is challenging me, and we grow the most from challenges.
Anyways, on to National Ice Tea Day. My mom drinks ice tea by the gallons. Except for the rare (more like semi-rare) times when mom brews the ice tea over old coffee grounds and we have to quickly discard that batch of tea. So this day is for my mom! Drinker of ice tea!
Notice her Disney shirt and her Disney cup? GO MOM!
