June 13: National Sewing Machine Day

If you have been following my blog for a while now, you know I love to sew.

I sew (and sell) pillowcases like a bad addiction. Fabric is addicting. The fabric store is addicting. Fabric sales are even more addicting.

Good thing my parents have an extra bedroom in their house, because it's been taken over by my pillowcases and fabric.

This is the sewing machine I use. We have shared many good times together. And some really bad times. Like when the stupid thing won't stay threaded, or it tries to eat my fabric. Or when (occasionally) I sew the fabric to something else (like my skirt). But most of the time, we get along well.

I'm thinking this guy needs a name.

I dub thee, Casper Dalton Clinton.

But just Casper for short, because who actually has the time to say Casper Dalton Clinton?

Here's my pillowcases that are ready to be bought! I really should get another container to hold them in.

And here's some future pillowcases that are still in the stage of being fabric, ready to be sewn into pillowcases.
