April 23: National Picnic Day

My mom won a picnic basket set a few years back in a fundraiser. The picnic basket is one of my favorite things! It came complete with an African Serengeti themed tablecloth, pillows, and napkins. I do like to picnic. However, today wasn't the best weather. My friend Allison was up visiting and we decided to brave the cold and the wind and go picnic. Let's just say we ate our lunches very fast and then went to get coffee.

This whole picnic set up makes me laugh. The picnic basket is very plain but then it came with African Serengeti supplies? It just cracks me up. It's very random. And those pillows? Am I supposed to sit on one? I know that a lot of times people picnic on the grass, so I guess pillows would make more sense then.
