February 12: National Plum Pudding Day

Did you know that plums are not actually in plum pudding? Dates, raisins, nuts, and prunes are common ingredients in plum pudding though.  So I don't know why they don't call it date pudding, or even mosh posh pudding?

I decided to be creative and make my own plum pudding. I cut up a plum, and placed it on top of some chocolate pudding that I made out of a box. There you go, you have a plum and you have pudding, you have plum pudding!

Okay, I have to be honest. I went to the grocery store to buy a plum and they told me they don't carry plums because it's not plum season. Okay then. I bought a nectarine. But you can't really tell. So I guess instead of plum pudding, I made nectarine-chocolate pudding? I won't call today a successful day.
